Sportsman's Legacy by W.G. Tapply

If you have a young child showing an interest in hunting or fishing, and you're beginning the journey of teaching them the ways of outdoor life...you should read Sportsman's Legacy by William Tapply. It's a book of a father's skill, patience, and devotion for his son's education in all things regarding field, stream, and life. The relationship between Tap and his son, Bill, is special. As I was reading this book, it became clear to me that Senior "Tap" was the role model for fathers wanting the best for their kids.

I must admit the last chapter caused my eyes to water a bit. That story was a loving reminder of our passages through time and how fast the years fly by us. Life is good. Be in the moment, and enjoy!
