Winston Catalog - 2017

2017 was a good year, and a time when Winston was still invested in boron fly rods. It was also a year when Winston launched their new AIR flagship fly rod series. I'm lucky to have one of those fly rods, a 7'6" 3wt model. The 3wt rod has served me well on some beautiful trout streams in New Mexico and Colorado!

This also was the last year for the Winston Boron IIIx and LS rod series...they have given anglers a lot of memorable fly fishing adventures through the years. These two rod series have proven their performance capability for those who love fly fishing, and I'm one of them.

Another new product launch in 2017 was the Winston Energy Fly lines for both freshwater and salt water applications. The fly line was designed specifically for Winston fly rods. I use these lines from 2wt through 4wt on my Winston creek rods, and I like how they perform on both boron and traditional fly rods (IM6/WT).
