Joan Wulff Favorite

Joan Wulff is celebrating her 100th birthday! Her impact on fly fishing around the world is legendary. Yeah, her casting record of 161 feet is impressive, indeed! What's my favorite Joan Wulff contribution in fly fishing? That's easy. It was when she collaborated with R.L. Winston to create the Joan Wulff Favorite fly rod. It's an amazing rod, and I have to ask, "Is a Winston rod quiver complete without a Joan Wulff Favorite 8'6" 5wt rod nestled among the collection?"

Without doubt, the 8'6" 5wt Joan Wulff Favorite (JWF) model is one of the most iconic rod models in the history of the RL Winston Company. And with Joan's 100th birthday celebration, her namesake rod is even more impressive in the Winston Company's history.
