The Spotted Cats by Tapply
Jeff Newton is broken, crippled, and ready to die after a leopard attack ended his career six years ago as a professional hunting guide. He urged Brady Coyne, his Boston lawyer to visit him for a weekend in his Cape Cod home. Brady wasn't wanting to make the trip, but his secretary guilted him into going and paying respects to his client.
While Brady was at Newton's home that weekend, the house was burglarized and Brady was tied up and threatened. The thieves stole seven, solid gold, leopard statues and beat Newton into a coma and left him for dead. Brady begins investigating who is responsible for the theft of the stolen statues and the horrific beating of his client during the robbery. The investigation takes Brady all the way to Montana to resolve this crime.
I've enjoyed these Brady Coyne Mysteries and I'm reading the 11th book in the series at this very moment. My friend Skunkedalot recommended this author to me and I thank him for that. The Brady Coyne mystery series make for a fun and entertaining read! As with any book series, be sure to read them in order.
