So Long 2024...
Thank Goodness for a fabulous 2024 year, along with cooperative weather for fun fishing adventures...because it seemed every time I turned around a kitchen appliance, bee's nest, window awnings, or car needed to be replaced. And, things aren't cheap these days! So, the fishing adventures were what kept me sane and happy. Hmmm, my sanity? Well, you'll need to ask Sylvia about that...
People who follow my blog know, I take a few photos throughout each year. Below are a few of my favorite shots I was fortunate to capture in 2024. Yup, shorter text than usual, but the photos tell the story. Life is good.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Post Note: For those new to the blog, I don't shoot trophy photos with me holding up a trout. I like to keep the trout wet, in the water, for a quick release. Why don't I like trophy photos? For me, it's just obscene with how many anglers are holding up a trophy trout, out of the water with the fish gasping for air, and posting them on their social media accounts. It's not healthy for the trout to go very long without air. I'll take a shot of my first couple of catches while in the net to document the species in the stream, then I will spend the rest of the day fishing and being in the moment with my surroundings. It works for me...
Happy New Year to you and yours. I enjoy your writing and photos.....GO LONGHORNS !
