Blog Anniversary - 4 Years

Today is the four year anniversary of my fly fishing blog. The very first post featured my special Winston WT 7' 4wt fly rod...and the moment I pressed the 'Publish' button, DryFly NM blog was off and running to share my fishing trips, fly fishing gear, and some of the art that has brought beauty and pleasure into my life.

I enjoy capturing in photos some of the adventures I'm blessed to experience here in our Rocky Mountains of the southwest. As long as I can wade into a stream I'll continue this little digital journal of mine. And, pass along some information about the history of those classic rods I love to cast and tight line with the Leetle Fellers. You know, I've noticed in recent years I have a lower motivation to fish in the big rivers and more of a passion to fish the small streams here in the southwest. I'm sure that will continue to be the case next year too. I don't know, something about fishing a small stream that is flowing through a canyon or an open valley, with wild trout, is truly addictive for me.

I'm looking forward to another year of blogging. And, fly fishing. In my little world:)

  5. Mike, Thanks for sharing your writings. I've been enjoying them for a couple of years, so please keep it up! I always love seeing a familiar spot in your photos, then I'll see the posting date and realize we missed each other on the river by a day or two! That's happened a couple of times this year. Hope we can connect next season!
