What To Do?

The Rios are still running high, even though the trend seems to be in a slight downward direction. I'm beginning to get an idea on when the fishing can begin, but it's still a ways off from now. So, what to do? Well, Sylvia and I packed a bag and drove the High Road to Taos. Two nights and three days in one of our favorite places to stay, and immerse into the local culture there...love this place.

And, what made the trip even better? My sister and her husband drove in to join us. It was so much fun to share one of our favorite New Mexico places with family. The food, drink, and enjoying the sights of the area was fabulous. A few photos of our time in this remarkable place are posted below...yeah, just kickn' back in Taos.

Note: there is a tiny blue spec in the river photo...that's a raft with 3 people hoopn' and hollering as they were working there way under the bridge and down stream. They sounded as if they were having the ride of their life.
