Trout Madness - by Robert Traver

During our last snow day, I was going through my book shelf and pulled out a Robert Traver (Voelker) book...Trout Madness. I decided to give it a read and so I sat in the quiet of the night by the lit fireplace and immersed myself. The book was just as enjoyable as the first time I read it. My favorite chapter, The Intruder, is a fabulous story and it seemed as though I was actually there watching him fish the Escanaba River...it has a nice twist of fate in the end. I love that era of fly fishing, when men were men and fly gear looked liked serious fishing tools...
