Orvis CFO Fly Reels

Orvis hasn't sold CFO reels for about 2 years now. An icon of a reel for Orvis and yet they are not producing them anymore. Oh, well. My interest has moved on to other manufacturers ever since the Orvis company started selling fly rods and reels that are down right ugly and dainty looking. They sure aren't targeting the consumer group I belong to any longer. That's okay...haven't purchased Orvis gear in several years anyway. Other companies have been marketing fly fishing gear more aligned to my aesthetic and functional needs.

Note: I do fish occasionally my old Orvis gear, but just not interested in adding their new stuff to what I currently own...

UPDATE: Orvis has announced a new CFO reel will be available for 2022. That's good news for Orvis fans. Will I buy one? No, have enough already...
