Follow The Trail - To Trout

There is nothing more exciting to me than walking down a trail that leads to a trout stream...my mind is going through all kinds of "what ifs" as I'm approaching the stream. What kind of hatch is going on, if any? Do I have the right trout flies in my box? Did I rig up the right rod for the environment? Wait Mike! Stop thinking, just enjoy the moment, and take in the beauty of this place!!!

I always have to remind myself to be in the moment and "really see" what surrounds me. Below are some random photos of trails I've been on this year...so far, anyway. A fun year to date fishing with my brother and fishing buddies, I must say. Note: click on a photo for a larger image.
