Making The Cut - August

This month's knife post features the Case Scout Utility Knife that has been produced for many decades. Made in America. I can’t remember how long ago I bought the knife, but it’s old. The blades still have a nice snap to them…kind of a minty knife, actually (Code E).

Sadly, when I checked the Case website, they are no longer offering this knife for sale. I can't understand why they are not making this knife now? I guess a plain Case pocket knife will have to do for today's scouts...but this knife will slice open a tin can!!!

Of note, I noticed Marbles and Rough Rider still make this model...but they are made in China.
