Fish Photos

For those who drop in and view posts from time to time, I'm sure you've noticed there aren't too many fish photos on the blog. Just so you know, I'm not into fish photos and it's not what my blog is about, anyway. I closed my Instagram and Facebook accounts because the 500 or so anglers I was connected with posted enough fish porn to serve the world...I got overwhelmed with all the trout being held up for the camera and quite frankly concerned about what social media was doing to the health of trout populations.

So, please understand why I don't post too many trout pics. It's not that I don't catch trout, it's just that I feel others post more than enough fish photos for everyone to see a little or big fishy. The ones you do see on this blog most likely will be laying in the landing net close to the water's surface or submerged somewhat...for a second before I tip the net to set the trout free. I'm strictly catch and release or as my wife says, "a kiss and release fly fisher."

  2. Haha. I know. My grandson wants to keep some fish and take home to his parents for a dinner. I'm going to have to buy a foam ice box for him to keep a few of his catches on our next trip to the kid's pond at the hatchery.
