I have to admit that I jumped up from the chair when the little old lady returned fire and took down a Seal Team 3 sniper....don't mess with experienced people!!! Even though there are no fly fishing stories within the pages, there are fabulous outdoor settings of adventure to keep a fly fisher like me glued to the book. Another addictive read by Peter Heller...as you've probably noticed, I'm on a Petter Heller run with his books. This book is my favorite...well, maybe The Painter. I don't know, they are both great reads.
